But I figure that if I want a vision of the future I could imagine a boot stamping on a human face forever, OR I could imagine punching far-right fuckwits in the face & making sparkles.

When I started the FFS project I mentioned a poster of the resulting graphics, and I was playing around with the idea with the few I've done so far.

Main realisations are that it definitely needs to be a Proper Web Project too, as a poster will be quite limited in space and can't expand to the same scale (a web thing is in progress), and I think I need to redo the Welsh one, as I have got in a pattern with the others and the colours of the Welsh letters are a bit off.

I quite like them against a black background though. There's definitely going to need to be a decision about lots and lots of examples all quite small, or just picking a few out.

Anyhow, just thinking out loud really.

I got an email from YouGov.

"How have British attitudes to immigration changed over the last decade?

Our latest research finds that 43% of Britons now believe immigration has been mostly bad for the UK – up 10 points from when we asked the same question in 2016."

And I thought... wow.

A decade of relentless scapegoating of immigrants by toxic media & politicians, & the majority of people *still* don't think it's a bad thing.

I look forward to seeing the resulting articles about that finding. /s

I managed to miss the news about Trump "renaming" Lake Ontario this week, until I read a response to my Québécois French FFS entry suggesting the news merited a "voyons donc tabarnak tu me niaises-tu câlisse"* instead.

Anyway, the idea of doing a ridiculously long FFS image amused me, so here it is.
