If you're reading this I have successfully migrated my Mastodon instance from managed hosting to a self-hosted instance at home on a GMKTec M6 Ultra mini PC. 🎉️

The host machine is running Chimera Linux, Mastodon is running in a Debian VM atop that.

The Modos folks sure have worked out some e-Paper sorcery with this display. Seems like it it's good for terminal, documentation, writing, status info, etc. It would also make for a neat display for a cyberdeck type device that would work great outside.

Deno Land Inc. are shutting down their "Deploy Classic" hosting on 1 June. I was using this to host my very serious site: https://mistakes.computer/

I took this as a sign to try out a different tool, and rewrote it in Janet (https://janet-lang.org/). I also moved it to Codeberg and replaced Cirrus CI (also shutting down 1 June) with Forgejo Actions. https://codeberg.org/wezm/mistakes.computer

@nprofile1q... sorry to bother you again. I'm seeing the same connectivity issues as the other day. Might be MTU related again? `ping -M do -s 1472 -c 3 casuarina.org` results in all packets lost. `ping -M do -s 1428 -c 3 casuarina.org` is the largest size that succeeds.
