I am reading @nprofile1q... Woodspell! I started out with the bird shifter story "midnight crow" and soon realized I want to know more about this world. Thus, up to the beginning - and it is such a unique approach and a richly constructed universe. I am looking forward to working my way through #TalesofArdonna.

As for me: My writing habits haven't changed. I published regularly before, too. However, I got a lot of inspiration, cool indie stories to read & more confidence about telling people I'm a writer. 🥰

Eigentlich nicht.
Aber da gibt es die Tatsache, dass ein kleiner Teil der Menschheit die Fähigkeit erworben hat, sich mehr oder minder gewollt in ein Tier zu verwandeln.
Man schlägt halt nicht so schnell nach einer Stubenfliege, wenn dies Lucille sein könnte, die gerade einen Anfall hatte.
Zumindest tut Nior das nicht.

Stell dir vor, du wärst ein Rabe, der auf einem Fenstersims im kalten Winter sitzt. Du weißt zwei Dinge mit Gewissheit:
1. Die Frau, die du da gerade beobachtest, muss leben
2. Einmal am Tag musst du zum Mensch werden und essen.
Und das ist alles, was du mit Gewissheit weißt.

Good question. San'chi is a raven/man with amnesia. He spent most of the time he remembers as a bird. He does know how to behave as a man... but I'm not sure I have let him shower yet.
I guess he must, though, or Nior would find a way to make him. He does sweat, after all.

Yes. They are given/received as gifts, donations, rejoiced over, enjoyed and even attacked the unsuspecting travelers in one story.
All of this started with me sitting in a restaurant, staring at the table deco thinking - I could do something with flowers... anno 2004

Edit: This does not apply to the WIP but all of my stories.

I am interested and often look up origins / meanings of words. Of course, now none comes to mind. I believe the last I looked up was Telekinetic and then decided to go for Remotati instead...

Making often seems to sneak in. I manage to banish it out of most of my historical stories, but right now, I'm attempting a dystopic/scifi peace and look! Magic!
