I don't know if there really are loads of people whining that there are no good games anymore or if that's a thing made up by Youtubers, but I strongly disagree. There are more great games than ever and it's hard to decide which to play. Fortunately, once I rule out games requiring internet, games sold with a revocable license, games that require Denuvo / nasty software and games that don't run on Steam Deck... yeah, there's still plenty of games left even then. No tech-hate toot for you today.

I've long had the Perseids maximum in my calendar, a yearly spectacle with high chances to spot lots of shooting stars. This year, in Europe, there's an eclipse (a total eclipse in Spain and Iceland) on the same day. Wild. August 12th, folks.
