Here is a quick way for you to remember things you read for your education.

While reading something you find the important ideas in the text, these you have to associate.

Once you associate these as described in other posts I have made you can make it into a story to remember these things.

Each thing works best with emotionally loaded images, visualizing helps a lot too.

Any skill can be learned, but having an easier way to remember said skill should reduce the time it will take to get up to mastery.

Of course using your brain in an effective way to remember should help out with this.

Dry facts are not very easy to remember, but that is bc we never needed this to survive.
Spatial memory are more important, so if you can exploit this fact to remember those dry facts, it will be much easier to remember anything!

Hence why loci or the journey method is such an amazing tool for memory

So wow let me just vent a little, so I had been getting a request to be an instructor for some youth project here locally arranged through city hall.

So everything seems to be going well and as far as I remember I signed some papers even, to do the job.

Then after a week-ish I get a mail that they will not be doing the thing they initially requested me to do.

I was frankly shocked about this, well life goes on.

Remembering one item as in my last note is all well and good. But ultimately not very useful.

Of course that is more meant as an exercise to make associations so you can remember the individual things. So now we will talk about taking things a little further, that is too chain things together.

Say you want to remember something let's say a Bitcoin seed phrase.
Like:
Avoid demand kiwi mango gloves shiver pelican box long choice slice manage

Yes this is a real seed phrase, yes I memorized it, no there are no money to the best of my knowledge, I wouldn't post the one with my money.
I memorized this one too test if I could it stuck, so I memorized another one.

Of course it might seem difficult to remember 12 words in order and some of these aren't even concrete things.

So how is it possible?
I can share how I do it.

I imagine having to avoid a demanding kiwi, that is new Zealander, who then turns into a mango wearing gloves, the gloves shiver and out comes a pelican but this pelican has a box for feet out of this box comes a long int from c programming that has to make a choice, to finally get sliced to a manageable size.

Of course your images will almost certainly be different. These are just my associations.

But this won't be enough for you to remember you will have to recall this a few times to make it stick.

Ideally once with 20 minutes then in a day then about a week and then after a few months. At least that is what research suggests you might find your mileage may vary.

If you want to remember a fact, you will need to do something to make it clear it is important to you.

If you want to remember for instance that jfk was killed November 22 1963.
As an example.
Do you have any "hook" for 1963, I simply remember that he was killed the year before his reelection, you might have a different way to do this.
As for 22 ah well you can do many things to remember this one of which is too make it into words, this can be done with the year too.
As for November, this happens to be the word in the NATO phonetic alphabet for n, that I found somewhat useful to memorize.

But if course you will have different ways to remember this.

Now when you have collected your associations together you can construct an image, which is the most conducive to remember the brain works in images much more so than words.

This is my first tip, I will update this and open to teaching if you so desire.

I hope this will help me build my stack but I suppose sharing this will be beneficial to a lot of people
