i want to make a 4chan-style blossom server that deletes things after a few days. would be great for quickly sharing things without a huge server burden. has anyone done that?
The reference client already deletes after a few days, by default

Do some diligence and have some respect for the teams making sustainable / long term contributions

We have always run our own email server and never had any problems
The whole "it doesn't work" thing only applies if you are bulk mailing (aka, spamming)
It's true that right now our server does not mail gmail addresses. We consider this a FEATURE, not a bug! We won't fix it - as all the people who signed up to our various platforms, and have had to provide alternative addresses, will attest.
