I would tag Verita and get him to explain why WoT overall doesn't work, but he got so fed up dealing with the growing pro-censorship client developers and relay maintainers that he fucked back off to something that sucks worse than even the shittiest of Nostr experiences (the fediverse) and completely blocked the Mostr bridge on both sides from interacting with his instance.

May someone else fill his place and say the things he's said about it.

So I can’t tell if cash app is bolt11 compliant but I checked braiins website and brains is definitely bolt 11 compliant. I would have to assume that since your handle worked nostr:npub1ftj3tmr44tdz...

To be fair, the address support on Cash App IS hit or miss; what may work without a hitch for some may either have issues, or not work at all.

I'm assuming CR45H is in one of the latter camps, but I can't say conclusively until I'm able to test a P2P bit transfer with them. Making sure everything works before writing it off is one of my primary modus operandis.

I’m fairly certain your first paragraph is exactly why it doesn’t work. If they try to send my reward to my wallet and it fails, I lose those sats and that seems like what they’re trying to avoid by only allowing reliable addresses.

I appreciate the input, I really do, I’m just going to have to wait until they officially add it. I don’t think hacks would work with a mining pool given how tight their security is. It wasn’t so much the confrontational manner, it was the fact that they never even used any of these yet start...
