Let’s set the gloom aside for a moment.
Enough talk about wars, inflation, and the decline of our cities…
Time to dream a little! Most crypto analysts (about 8 out of 10) are saying we’re still in the first year of Bitcoin’s bear market and that we won’t see $100k again before the second half of 2027.
However, there’s one well-respected voice in the space, Gert van Lagen, who posted something very interesting this week.
He’s a strong proponent of the 5-wave Elliott cycle theory, and according to his analysis, there’s a realistic chance Bitcoin could hit some truly absurd levels as early as this year.

My personal take?
It feels very unlikely… but hey, dreaming is free!

#Bitcoin is a school. Even after being involved for years, I've learned the value of humility. I was certain that this cycle would bring us a peak around 200k. We barely passed 125k. Now it's about preparing psychologically for at least another 7-8 months of bear market. I don't see a bottom before October 2026. Perhaps the war and the new FED administration will be catalysts for a faster shift from bear to bull, but in short, the lessons learned recommend humility and caution.

So right ! I'm a fan of bob loukas too. In hindsight, I was influenced by others and I recognise I should just accept to listen to his signal alone. All the rest is noise really.

GM family ! I could be wrong and I'm OK with that but I really think the #bitcoin 4yr cycle is dead/invalidated. What really matters is LIQUIDITY!! - As soon as we see it back to the market, bitcoin will rally again.

same reason I didn't sell. All these hours spent reading reasearch were for nothing. Sure BTC's price in USD and liquidity might be correlated but you never one which one will lead the other. Once this current #bitcoin cycle is over, I think the next major concern should be to make blockchain quantum computer resistant. They're coming and will be here in 2 or 3 years.
