Capitalism once again making us feel part of completely abstract target groups.

A "generation" was not, initially, based upon the moment you were born, but used to describe a subgroup of people who shared similar ideas and lived at the same time.

Example: "La generación del 27" describes a group of influential literary figures, not how old they were or when they were born!
