I finally made myself a FreshRSS instance. I figured I'd #asknostr for feed recommendations. What should I follow? Why?

I follow a few subreddits in order to keep up to things, but without the crappy algo stuff built into the app or the site.

I also follow a Linux gaming news site, and a few webcomics like xkcd and The Oatmeal.

If you're into gaming at all, each game on steam has its own rss feed for announcements.

If there are any github projects you care about, those also have feeds.

Maybe it's better now, but it was bad enough I gave up on it. And the last time was on an Ubuntu cert...

That can be deceptive since Ubuntu has it's own repos and stuff on top of Debian. That's part of my point. It just adds complexity for no gain anymore (in my opinion). Ubuntu used to be useful, but I don't see where it really fits anymore. Especially with how corporate and buggy (the last time I use...

Yeah it's not necessarily "on brand" for the Nostr crowd, but it's not obvious to me that the "go off grid and grow your own food" approach is the best way to preserve one's freedom.... Agriculture enforces being both bound to a particular plot of land, as well as engaging in a form of economic act...

All the cameras I've seen are set up to target the back of the car.
