Recent Notes

They eat a custom mix from a local mill with oyster shell thrown in. Then our table scraps we mainly eat meat, cheese, eggs, potatoes and fruit. No complex carbs or veg. Seems to be working! They actually have a taste, I find shop bought eggs have no real flavour when boiled. What do you feed yours?

Same, I used to muck out most mornings with my grandma. I vividly remember the sweet smell of the fermented hay. I haven’t ridden a horse for 20 years probably. I now live next to a horse stables, need to get back on one! Make the most of it while it’s there, it’s such a beautiful experience.
