Aside from all the obvious human and sex trafficking filth and horrificness, I think the part to me that is the worst for Bitcoin itself is how susceptible the core team really was to the normal, typical, usual money and power tactics. It was so vulnerable and had the interest of people who were obviously world class master manipulators and power hungry individuals like Epstein and his colleagues.
The link and connection alone makes me fear that somebody was taken advantage of or manipulated in such a way to create a back door or some sort of disingenuous code that just hasn't been found or spotted yet. The trust in the separation of human error from Bitcoin had been tarnished in my mind.
