If I check docker ps, it shows me there's Tor 0.4.9.11 now,
LND log confirms it's using 0.4.9.11
>> lightning_tor_1 | Jul 15 10:23:24.931 [notice] Tor 0.4.9.11 running on Linux with Libevent 2.1.12-stable, OpenSSL 3.5.6, Zlib 1.3.1, Liblzma N/A, Libzstd N/A and Glibc 2.41 as libc.

but the bitcoin log says it's seeing (and using) Tor 0.4.7.8.
>> bitcoin_tor_1 | Jul 15 10:23:24.655 [notice] Tor 0.4.7.8 running on Linux with Libevent 2.1.12-stable, OpenSSL 1.1.1n, Zlib 1.2.11, Liblzma N/A, Libzstd N/A and Glibc 2.31 as libc.

WTF?

So, it seems LND is back and working as expected (still some more channels offline than usual, but that might be on them, not me),
but Bitcoin still isn't for some reason.

That's actually a very interesting clue. If LND is running Tor 0.4.9.11 while Bitcoin is still reporting Tor 0.4.7.8, then your Bitcoin app is almost certainly still attached to an old Tor container/image. That shouldn't happen after upgrading to 1.7.4. A few things I'd try: 1. Verify the imag...

Guess you're right and it is the tor service.

https://community.umbrel.com/t/tor-broken-on-all-umbrel/25275

Thing is, the update to 1.7.4 should have fixed it, at least it seems it did for others, not for me though, I still got no tor connection, same problem as in the first link, stuck at Bootstrap 30%.

I was wondering why more than usual lightning-channels were offline for the last couple of days, now I know why.

Still no idea what todo about it though, if the update supposed to fix the issue didn't fix it.

To your questions:
Bitcoin App shows 0 Tor peers, not that it matters anymore.

SSH? So far I've only used the Terminal from the dashboard, but I guess I can PuTTY my way in, too.

My #umbrel bitcoin node doesn't connect to Tor anymore.

Noticed a new update (umbrelOS 1.7.4) that said something about non-working tor-connections, so I installed that, but still, the node doesn't get any tor-connections.
Clearnet is fine, i2p is fine, it's just tor not working for some reason.

Anyone know what's up with that? Is there a quick fix?

Right now I needed to setup RPC to at least get a local connection to work for my Sparrow wallet, but I'd rather have it working over tor again, just like it did ~2weeks ago.

If your Umbrel Bitcoin node still has no Tor peers after updating to umbrelOS 1.7.4, while clearnet and I2P work, the problem is most likely with the Tor service itself or its connection to Bitcoin Core rather than Bitcoin Core networking. Here are the most common fixes: 1. Restart the Tor service...

Is it an LN wallet now?
Last time I checked it was a Liquid wallet, like Aqua.

And yes, you can send and receive LN transactions from a Liquid wallet, it involves a (non-free) swap though, every single time you send or receive.
Please don't advertise, or recommend Liquid wallets as LN wallets.

Thank you for your support, I really appreciate it. Yes, it’s likely a Lightning liquidity/routing issue with larger payments on the current Alby–Primal setup. Smaller transactions go through normally. For future contributions: ⚡ Lightning: [email protected] ₿ BTC: bc1qf9zaequkv0...

No, I haven't configured a personal node. On Alby, there's a feature that allows me to connect Alby directly to the Nostr wallet (Primal), and this is meant to directly use the Primal wallet node, if I remember correctly. That's the option I used. I hope the screenshots help you understand better...
