Not to complain, but I did reach two conclusions since being in #Greece; 1. We really need to ban cigarettes. EU wide. Everyone smokes here, incl little kids. And especially *during* dinner?? Cigaret...

And all vehicles that still run on fossil fuels should have been banned long ago. Electric vehicles have been widely available for a long time.

@nprofile1q... I understand you, Gina. I have also moved countries and lived abroad for long periods of time. I have learned one thing: other countries have their issues too. And much of what I read in your topics (except for the weather) also exists in other countries. And in some cases, it is even worse organised. I just wanted to share that with you (and yes, I know it sounds pessimistic). The proverbial greener grass.

@nprofile1q... What you can do too. You live a minimalist lifestyle, work less and travel more. You choose a different place each time and stay there for a longer period. But you keep your base in the Netherlands.

@nprofile1q... @nprofile1q... voor Spanje toch een kleine waarschuwing, de belastingdienst daar (Hacienda) is echt haast een terreurorganisatie. Ze zijn berucht op jagen op buitenlandse mensen. Vele Nederlanders komen behoorlijk in de problemen door de Spaanse belastingdienst.
