Part of me wants to condense 64 or whatever Jetragons into one and do the breeding shit to get max stats and the best passives but then I remember that will take a retarded amount of time and will not be satisfying.
I just don't have the attention span to play an MMO-tier grind anymore. Like I could do it but I've learned after playing FFXI, FFXIV, and Warframe that committing so much time to one game just leads to a weird feeling of emptiness when you finally do quit it and you ask yourself why you committed so much time to it in the first place. It becomes a weird addiciton/chore. I don't want my games to be this long and I honestly think that should be the objective opinion. Nobody should think playing one game for more than like 50 hours absolute max is a healthy thing.
Instead of not finishing the game, I downloaded a mod in Palworld that lets you craft without resources. I regret nothing. I didn't appreciate what this game was until this weekend and it's not a small thing to dive into. It expects you to commit hundreds of hours to grinding out everything like an MMO. Not my thing but I have more respect for it now for what it is as a product and I had a lot of fun with it.
The world feels too much like BOTW for my liking so if somebody attempts another game like this in the future, I hope they'll make a better effort to make the towns feel like something you'd expect from Pokemon when it was good but adapted for today. It could be something incredible. Also take the timers off of the boss fights. There's no reason for that to be a thing.
Pushed through the rest of the game with ill gotten equipment. Still enjoyed it but I would have never finished it normally. I 100% accept that. It's like a 300 hour game.
