Check your gutter nails. Give them a tap back in and check for loose spots. A tube of caulking may go a long way... Can also just take a walk out next rain storm to see for gutter leaks... Just a thought

I decided to hone (no pun) my skills a while back and downloaded a bunch of sharpening videos.

Came to the conclusion there's no second best to a wet-stone. Though also, something is better than nothing.
