It wasn't your fault! I think we miscalculated the time that's needed for workshops. We had this same problem at previous summits. We should explore concurrent workshops, and in a more open room type set up with 20-30 people each. Your session was perfect! I'll write about it more in my upcoming e...

Just to give everyone the heads up on a successful project execution of the London based Bitcoin summit. It was a very good turnout, and we achieved some great milestones. We had some known names like Simon Dixon and Harris Irfan. I managed to teach a workshop on how elliptic curve cryptography works (basic intuitions) and the process of going from seed words to Bitcoin addresses. Hopefully the start of many more to come.
We also had the likes of Adam from Frostsnap and other individuals in this space.
We had a total of 140 tickets allocated out of 150.
My estimate is we had an approx 130 people at peak.
And out of 75-80 expected on day 2 (the workshop day), probably 55-60 attended

One precise point for newcomers: a single seed derives every address through hierarchical derivation, so the 12 or 24 words are the only thing to pro...

So apparently Muslim countries are so oppressive of women that they give them their own parking spaces!! They even give women their own train cars on their metro stations so they don’t get crushed by men during rush hour!! What wickedness is this??!! 😂

This guy was spreading kufr and confusing a few young Muslims. Calling to destroy a big building right next to the holy Kaaba is nothing for him. He is done hamdoulillah.
