I hate the harnesses. The TUI of Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode whatever are awful and bloated and eat too much RAM and try to cram junk into the model’s context window. Pi just works, at least. It i...

Yeah, comfort vs efficiency.

You will always need to be a hackster to be efficient, because to make comfort for everyone, you will have to sacrifice a lot.

Thats how claude code and such try to be good from the beginning by setting up the system prompt, so it works for literally everyone.

Comfort needs generarility. Generality can never be efficient.

I think those who can bear hard and uncomfortable situations, trial and error alot, figure things out on their own (e.g.: doing self-hosting), lets call them hacksters, will have a bright future later too.

Everything gets much, much more comfortable and easy, but there will be always things that only hackster can do, and the non-hacksters will either not be able to do, or only much later.

I am tinkering with the thought of hosting my own agent/LLM since a long time.

I did not have yet too much success. Maybe its time from the signs, to try again.

I think the future is bright to use frontier models for creating new stuff/stuff without personal data/stuff for your local agent teams. Local agent teams to use your data, automate your personal stuff.

My improvement loop now with my agentic team is quite simple.

I built an agentic AI five pillars/best practices document.

When an agent or the team does something badly, I ask it to audit the current agentic system compared to the five pillars, what caused the issue, and tell me how to fix it with the exact new content and its location.

Works great so far.

Yeah. I'm also struggling with the right description. Would you say 4chan is pseudonymous because they can map you out to an identity based on your interests? I was thinking like it's pseudonymous i...

I guess you cannot make it fully anonymous, because agentic sessions contain the whole history, your system prompt, and your skills and pathes.

I guess you can use Tor, you can use a sandbox, but your history and skills will be there, and you cannot use a different node at each request forever. And when you reuse, due to the history, your api calls can be connected.

Yeah. I'm also struggling with the right description. Would you say 4chan is pseudonymous because they can map you out to an identity based on your interests? I was thinking like it's pseudonymous if you yourself assign a name to an identity. On Routstr you don't assign a name to your requests. Ev...

i mean running a fiat visa competitor is orders of magnitude more non trivial. with bitcoin you just need to run a piece of software on your computer.

The next most important skill is system designing.

If you want to use AI effectively, you have to create an agentic system that effectively handles the problems you put in front of them.

Agentic AI usage is more of a system design problem than anything else.

But this is also true for simple human team work. The quality of the output of the team correlates with the quality of its system design.
