Every Bitcoiner attending Oslo Freedom Forum by the Human Rights Foundation in June should do this: pay your duty free goods at Oslo airport with bitcoin. Let’s flood the duty-free shop with sats!
It’s @Human Rights Foundation / @HRF (RSS Feed) annual conference in Oslo. And they usually have some speakers talking about human rights activists using bitcoin in their work (freedom money).
The last lobster feast of the year, with lobster we caught ourselves 🦞. Served with rhubarb juice from a local apple farmer, Skadberg Gård. Paid with bitcoin 😀
[email protected] is his lightning address if anyone wants to send him a tip. You can find him as Eplenissen on TikTok, or Skadberg Plantesalg on Facebook. He also has a self-service stand where he sells juice — and you can even pay in sats!
I love @fountain_app. But recently, I’ve had to use Spotify if I want to get new podcast episodes soon after release.
Especially with more “normie” podcasts, it can take quite some time before they are available in Fountain. For instance, a couple of Norwegian financial news podcasts I listen to can take up to one or two weeks before they are available.
Why are they available on Spotify almost instantly after release, but not in Fountain?
The UX in Spotify is terrible and way behind Fountain. But as long as I have to wait for episodes, I’ve now turned to using Spotify. A pity.
