I also think it's not the best to directly attack them and others. Stating that GOS is better than others and how smooth it works can be presented in a better way. I'm not a PR specialist but disputing false claims maybe can be done in a better way without "sounding desperate". Sry not native English and therefore don't finding the right words.

the most daunting task is to know what needs to be backed up ins newly initialized on the new device or OS. Especially as one does not have any knowledge of doing this and does not have a lot of extra storage capacity.

can this be used to get different users logged in with a completely different profile like apps messages pictures etc. for different login sequences/pins etc? Like if police/bad actor want to see what's on your phone you can show a kind of public profile vs your own private profile depending on how you unlock your phone?

I'm still somehow missing the understanding of DE on Linux and it's correlation to distros.
Are all DE independent of distros usable? Which are coming/originate from a(which) distro? Are DE different depending on which distro they run? DE seem to me to be more important for a beginner Linux user than the distro itself. I also prefer to install/add software after I installed a "bare minimum" OS. communication is always hard everywhere. I luckily don't share your experience as a native German speaker. It takes a good amount of time to learn more languages, but having to do it in school early on makers it easier. I find it a bit sad that most of what I knew about French kind of vanished, but I still can understand a bit and try to read it, especially as I discovered @Framasoft , which is based on France.
