Dr. Abdul El-Sayed “only” had 4 million USD in campaign money, and his moderate rival Haley Stevens had 62 million USD for her campaign, meaning he was outspent more than 15 times. Half of that money came from AIPAC, a big chunk of donors come from a “dark-money group” meaning they're hidden and unknown.

I don't think it's surprising that in a state with a big Muslim population doesn't like a pro-Israel candidate with “dark-money” and big business ties. Well, but I'm not Haley Stevens.

@nprofile1q... Danke, exakt das. Und das die SPD ihre Aversion gegen die 5% Hürde entdeckt, gerade wo sie in Sachsen-Anhalt Gefahr läuft von dieser rauszufallen, ist eine historische Chance um sie endlich abzuschaffen.

Das EU Parlament macht es vor: So viele Stimmen wie einen Abgeordneten rechtfertigen ist die Hürde um ins Parlament zu kommen. Dagegen spricht nichts und sowas schafft auch keine Weimarer Verhältnisse, außer man glaubt, dass das EU Parlament das ist.

I especially won't shout the “plagiarism!!” alarm bell because if you simply look it up, it turns out artist Sergio Garcia Sanchez made a painting for the Washington Post half a year ago showing Trump in the infamous Rhodes Colossus pose.

Just wanted to point that out!

I mean, the idea of colonialism is out there and all I did was taking The Rhodes Collossus painting and putting Trump's face on it, I don't deserve credit. I just find it very interesting that either they saw it and were inspired to do their edit or two people had the same idea.
