Um no. You do not have the right to bear arms here in America. You'll need permits, get put on a list, and to pay fees for that. I can't take my gun on my hip from Michigan to NY. I could end up in j...

Claiming that "nowhere is free" overlooks the fact that freedom exists on a spectrum. While no country offers absolute freedom, some severely restrict even the most basic individual liberties. A nation where private citizens are barred from purchasing firearms and women have no right to choose their own clothing sits far toward the authoritarian end of that spectrum, compared to a country like the US.

God given freedom is NOT a spectrum. nostr:nevent1qqsv5f3nk0fhv23wum83kn2y6exq0zjs6ctnetl3h25wdmym5p6xkgqpz4mhxue69uhhyetvv9ujuerpd46hxtnfduhsygrheet038gj9rml7d6recddrvj5s4aeqzzkgun7h4dp7vtnvtmv5upsgqqqqqqs9qh5c2

What your calling a "spectrum of freedom" Is really just the spectrum of control, you've been duped into thinking is freedom.

I was born and raised in Iran and we didn’t have such a thing. In the first grade of high school, they take you to a shooting range and let you shoot three bullets with AK-47. If someone has misled you into thinking they teach us how to use a gun in case of a ground invasion, they’ve taken you for a fool.
And you very conveniently failed to mention that in the US, one has the right to bear arms, while in Iran you don’t.

Iran's regime uses forced conscription and gun training to control the populace, a tactic also employed by other authoritarian regimes like China's Xi and Putin's Russia.

They say Iranians should save themselves. They don't know what they're talking about. They never lived under the oppression of an Islamic terrorist regime.
To those of you who think we should save ourselves: we have tried. We have tried many times. The regime's answer is bullets, torture, and rape.
We've lost too many brave people on this path and we still do.
You sit there in a free country and don't want the same for others. That's just inhuman and selfish.

From UNCONDITIONAL SURRENDER to begging for a deal, while the Islamic regime is still blocking the Strait of Hormuz and keeps violating the ceasefire, only a fool wouldn’t call that total defeat!

You haven't won if you have to say OVER AND OVER AGAIN that you have won!

How do they benefit exactly?
Momo profile picture
In different ways. As long as Iran remains isolated from the global banking system, Qatar facilitates money transfers and even money laundering. It is effectively an accomplice of the regime in financing terrorism.

After the Islamic Revolution, organized groups of hardline students attacked the US embassy and took American diplomats hostage. This effectively severed relations between Iran and the US, which had previously been very close allies. Iran was the US’s number one ally in the Middle East. Having cut this link, the regime handed out benefits left and right to China and Russia to secure their support. As a result, both governments benefit from Iran’s isolation.

The regime is first and foremost a puppet of China and Russia. It constantly claims to speak up for any Muslim suffering oppression anywhere in the world, yet it has not said a single word about the Uyghurs in China. Why? Because it fears losing Chinese support. It has also allowed Russia to exploit the Caspian Sea and its resources.

Before the revolution, Iran benefited greatly from tourism, which contributed to the country’s prosperity. Today, Turkey and other neighboring countries capture much of that tourism revenue. Moreover, affluent Iranians, instead of traveling within Iran, often spend their summer vacations or New Year holidays in Turkey or Armenia, where hijab is not mandatory, alcohol is permitted, and discos and other leisure activities are available. (I don’t blame them. I have done so too myself.)

These are only a few examples.

Qatar's role is well-known, but what about JP Morgan and HSBC's involvement in Iran's financing, courtesy of Obama's waivers?

Trump's ceasefire is a farce, orchestrated by Kushner and Kissinger to bolster Netanyahu's agenda.
