Personally I have been testing a lot recently, I do find it a little frustrating. So:
On graphene I use @Amethyst and @Zap Cooking for different reasons.
On iOS the only app I have found that works as it should is ditto. It's very nice and updated a lot
And in browser @Jumble on @Nostria
For signers I have @Amber on gos, @Clave on iOS and @Sidecar 🍸 browser extension

Do you not think this is the whole point? Same in the UK. Put out weak rules they know will fail so they have justification to put out stronger ones. If it's done in steps it doesn't look like such a leap. They will push for device level scanning and full VPN bans for everyone but themselves. It has been obvious from the start. But would look too too aggressive in one swoop

No you go through 2 trusted gateways not one. Think of it like tor lite. With much much better speeds. Neither end can be a middle man they would have to work together to effectively be a middle man.

They use 2 hops, rather than one. The exit node is mullvad. So it is particularly interesting to me as I use mullvad browser so in "theory" you still blend in with general mullvad VPN users, bit get an extra layer of obfuscation

Interesting. On other apps I am testing that have a podcast function allow me to find basically any podcast I would find on fountain and subscribe. I guess I had assumed this was the same I realise now it's actually for podcasts released on here. Which is also a cool feature!
