I don't think anyone needs to be "in charge" of what is csam. Is it really a subjective matter? I would imagine it can be flagged by anyone. To my understanding this soft fork will fix this bug and put an end to this spam wars.

I would push back on Lopp's argument that "no one is using Bitcoin/blockspace". This is completely NOT true. Holders are using Bitcoin everyday to protect their wealth from debasement and censorship. Blockspace not used is not relevant at this point because Bitcoin is not mature as a medium of transaction or unit of account.

While this is true for most people, but I don't think it should be forced. I know people who were somewhat socially pressured into having a family, they failed to adapt to life as a family unit. All they did was bring much misery and trauma to he's family. It did not end well.

The reality is ordinary people just want to live out ordinary lives. Been allowed to meet Maslow's hierarchy of needs is what's important. Politics are distractions, a soft form of control.
All political systems have trade offs. People should be allowed to move to the political jurisdiction that they align with. Stop trying to meddle in the politics of countries outside their own. Live and left live.

If they want to overpay for nfts, I couldn't care less either, but go do it on Eth and Sol, where the rest of the degens are. When they try to change Bitcoin so they can do it, then it's an attack on Bitcoin. We have to push back l. Hard! We should send a clear message, and make it as hard for them as possible.
