Loads of flu and Covid at work currently and I think I’ve got a mild form of one or the other, with a mild headache and a sore throat.

Grumble grumble grumble.

Way before TED talks made slide-less presentations popular, I realised that no one cares about slides so whenever I’ve had to present or teach or whatever, I never use slides.

It also forces the audience to actually look at you and listen 😅

I was telling someone at work today about something that happened to me at work back in 2003, to which she replied that was the year she was born…

The rather spectacular Ballads of the Underworld concert is available to watch for free!

This is the London concert featuring music from the Hades games, I was lucky enough to attend it with my wife and it was spectacular!

CONFESSION: I've never played The Witcher III.

Despite owning it on two platforms, one from launch.

I think it's because I didn't enjoy the first game, didn't play the second, so I (wrongly) assume the third one is the same.

Now that Remastered is out (and free!) maybe I'll finally see the error of my ways and correct them?!

Just managed to unlock the door and escape the CloverPit!

Took me about 20 hours of gameplay all in.

Like every other great roguelite, there’s a ton more stuff to unlock but that’ll take 100s of hours, so I’m calling it here.

Great game.

It’s that time of the year where one can wear the socks and use the blankets one made.

For today’s #ScanlineSunday I wanted to show you the importance of scan lines, and how the amazing artists of the era used to take CRT limitations into account when creating the graphics that mesmerised us.

Top: CRT.

Same game. Stormlord on #AtariST

I still think the #AtariST had the greatest mouse design!

It was the king from 1985 until 2000, where it was only beaten 15 years later by the original Microsoft IntelliMouse Optical.

Quick question before I post this in a separate post: would you consider this image NSFW and put it behind a content warning? It’s from the 1989 game Stormlord.

I thank you.
