And about that we are entering (and have for some time) in an era where the concept of the law is put to test. What is copyright law (or any law) good for if it is not enforced on the basis of who was the perpetrator etc... I would not put much hope or trust in the fact that the actual law will sort this... not for a while at least.
Morale and ethics, that's something else.

@nprofile1q... yes I don't see the point made in the post @nprofile1q.... Going from LGPL to MIT means they will now allow people to use it for closed source projects, which LGPL forbids. (In my admittedly limited understanding)
