A story about building your own solutions.

Every Sunday for over two years, we used the [email protected] batchpayment feature to pay the mothers in our program. We were huge fans. When it was deprecated, we were left with a mountain of manual work.

But the Bitcoin ethos is about solving your own problems. So, we built our own batch payment tool using the powerful Spark SDK from the team at @spark.

This video shows it in action. On the right is our tool. On the left, the Blink wallet app, which is connected to the *exact same* non-custodial wallet our tool uses.

When we hit 'Pay', you're seeing the Blink app reflect the outgoing transactions in real-time. We're still fans of Blink for many things, but we're proud we could build our own solution when we had to. A huge shout-out to the Spark team for the robust SDK. #ProofOfWork #BuildOnBitcoin

A story about patience, and now, finally: a breakthrough in Pakistan.

When we started there, the biggest hurdle wasn't tech, but uncertainty. The State Bank (SBP) instructed banks to block transactions, leaving the use of #Bitcoin in a prohibited grey area.

With the new legislative framework, that uncertainty is gone. The legal certainty is back. For our coach Mary and the families, this changes everything. The conversation with local merchants shifts from "Is this allowed?" to "How do we start?".
