Is it possible you could receive off-Noah lightning payments and add them to the Ark pool on the user’s behalf? (You said offline is only for Noah-Noah)

It would require effectively running a custodial service for lightning. Currently the way Noah works is that the client generates a preimage and payment hash, then it requests an invoice from the ark server. At that point the server facilitates the payment with some checks and balances which allow the client to keep the server honest. A third party swap service could exist which receives lightning payments and sends an ark payment of equal value to an ark address however that is custodial.

If you explain a meme it ruins it

The ones who keep shipping through the noise are the ones still standing when it clears. Every cycle feels like the end — then you look back and it was just a filter. The sats education layer is massively underbuilt. There's room.

This is pretty painful for anyone who adopted bitcoin fully in 2021…huge disappointment after a lot of hard work learning, hodling, risking our reputation. We never got our moment. And this is 100% ...

At risk of being called a spook I don't think it's all manipulation, I think it's more like just that Bitcoin will be harder and harder on newcomers as it matures. I'm sorry it's been so tough but I believe you will get your moment. As Odell would always say, stay humble and stack sats.

How will it get harder and harder? This is an empty take.

Let's hear your take on how BIP110 plays out
Peter profile picture
75% of Knots runners will use it, maybe 10-15% of miners will signal for it at the peak. I think it'll have a quick start in terms of nodes runners but it'll plateau. If people against BIP-110 start getting antagonistic, elitist and celebrating early I think there will be a second wave of adopters.

All in all I think things will be getting get very tense until August. I think the end result is a chain split because people will engage in a competition to see who can get the highest fee rate transaction in the first force-activated block to cause an immediate minority chain split.

I hope it will be a wake up call to the BIP-110 supporters that you can't bully the network into following your rules if there is an intolerant majority. I also hope it's a wake up call to Core and the community at large that we need to unify, not splinter. If things get as heated as I worry it will, I'm concerned that there will be a psycho or two getting violent in real life but I very much hope I'm wrong on that one.
