That is correct from the technical/product point of view, but it ignores the reality of Signal being an organization that has bloated expenses, lost motivation for innovation, and the leadership that lost trust of the critical part of the users. So you'd have to solve these problems as well.

As for being targeted - there's no such thing as a bad publicity, and mass-media writes lots of shit, that fewer and fewer people pay attention to - they lost all influence they had.

But not sure what you mean by "sock puppet" accounts, the implication here is that we are creating some accounts that would undermine GrapheneOS? If so, this is ridiculously untrue - all statements we make, we make under our own name.

That various people spread FUD about any system, including SimpleX network and GrapheneOS, is inevitable - whatever is their reasoning.
