My horniess for other people's OCs depends a lot on the artist's own closeness to and interest in their character. If they never draw it, don't care about it, or only get art of it through requests, the magic just isn't really there. It’s like trying to show love to an apple. It makes no sense and neither does the apple.

It was always an honor for me to have my drawings posted on imageboards. I mean, I still remember when my work was so ugly that I could post it on networks like Facebook without any issues it never got taken down because no one could even make out what it was. These days, I’m not sure if having your drawings posted on Rule34 is an honor or a provocation, because "without exception to the rule" actually includes "exceptions to the rule" on that site.
