The focus now is indeed on interoperable transports, AWDL would be an optimisation for Mac. I haven't looked into that yet.

So yes, Bluetooth will be compatible between MacOS, Android and Linux :)

Good! We're working on some fundamentals like multiple paths (transports) between 2 peers, which takes a while to get right. But the experimental version works quite well already. (I ship Myco with that version because mobile lends itself to multi-path)

And lots of background work on a proper v2 spec that will help the FIPS mesh scale better.

Also small things around integration:
- Dynamic interface binding (makes stuff like ethernet dongles work well)
- MacOS Bluetooth
- And all the bugfixes that make it generally more reliable
