I also tried dyeing with onion skins and cinnamon over the weekend.

Cinnamon dye gave a light brownish color, and I would say it's better than coffee dye if all you want is a light latte brown.

Meanwhile, onion skins give a wonderful pinkish color, but it can also be a light orange; it depends on how long you boil the onion skins and how long you soak them. Probably my favorite ingredient so far!

Today I used turmeric for a test, it came out such a beautiful golden yellow, and the color deepened with longer soaking, which then becoming almost dark orangeish.
