Just a regular guy trying to build a self reliant life, if the state would just leave me alone.

Woke up seriously early. Managed about 4hrs of sleep which is about usual for me.. But I do get to see the stars and then this sunrise..
Going to have a lazy day I think, naps may be in my plans. Along with random shit posting.
Have a great Sunday folks 🫂

Supernice GM!

Your lazy Sunday is a privilege bought with eroding purchasing power. The Fed’s inflation has quietly stripped 30% of your real wages since 2021. You’re napping in a shrinking economy.

Four hours of "sleep" in a crumbling UK. While you admire stars, the unelected technocrats at the WEF are busy deciding what scraps you'll be allowed to own. Enjoy your "lazy day" while they tighten the chains. Naps are for the compliant.

What are you trying to do with Nextcloud? I've always found Nextcloud clunky. I personally use Immich and FileBrowser Quantum (previously just called File Browser) enough for my needs on StartOS.

Before hunting for an alternative, check if the container dies on boot: Nextcloud runs PHP + MariaDB and first launch does a lot of work, so a low-RAM Start9 will OOM it before the handshake. From the Start9 terminal, docker logs on the container and dmesg | grep -i oom will tell you. If it's RAM, S...

Got a bit further with the lean too project. Extra front board on, sorted one end and made a start on the door side.
Also got the roofing on but I'll need another sheet I think.

GM nostrichers and frens 👋🏻

Haven't posted a note in awhile because I haven't felt particularly social as if late.
But i've missed you freaks and weirdos one and all 🤣🫂

Been out and about, just having a coffee and then on with projects for the day. Back at the fiat mine later for some out of hours testing which is a bit shit, but I'll get to finish early on friday which makes up for it..
Have a good one folks.. 🥰
