Thanks to my RSS reader, I recently saw that the long-running mp3 blog https://hc-punx.blogspot.com/ has relaunched as a self-hosted website at https://blog.punkify.cc/ !

It looks like they even are trying to add Fediverse integration from the blog (so one could follow it/comment from a Mastodon account) but it doesn't appear to be working just yet!

Updated the former Fediverse Punk Month site at https://allpunkspleaseleavemeta.com to be more evergreen content. Now has a standalone version of The Counterforce Guide to Mastodon and the Fediverse (for punks) alongside printable zines, links, and other resources.

January 2026 is Fediverse Punk Month!!

We encourage all hardcore punk underground DIY adherents to try spending January on the Fediverse with us. If you've been dabbling, try doubling-down. If you are already confident here, then spread the word and bring your friends. Let's get some collective momentum going!

There seems to be two new instances for "punks", punk.photos and punkstodon.de

The person who set these up is german and seems to be aligned with Anti-Deutsche politics (look it up) e.g. has a banner that says " Free Gaza!...From Hamas"

So I would be very wary of signing up there or recommending it to friends!
