I worked at a hospital on the Pine Ridge Native American Res and, while it was a dry country, the ER was packed with alcohol related issues. There’s an entrance to the res on each side and immediately on the other side of these exits were liquor stores and bars. Fkn self defating. That is the poorest res in the country. Just squalid living conditions. Awful treatment.

@nprofile1q... @nprofile1q... I had to work in Johnstown, PA for a month back in 2003 and there was a drive through beer place, like a barn. i had to stay in my car and they would load the trunk. And bars couldn’t sell beer until noon or something like that on Sunday’s. Fkn Quakers!

@nprofile1q... Try living with these amish luddites. I can’t even get groceries on one of the two days I have off in the week. Can’t wash my car, mow the lawn and am not supposed to vacuum either. Go to church, go home, shut up. You’d think it’s still 1941. Absolutely backwards. And the arguements I hear back are fkn comedy. It’s like they all have the same “Accepted Responses When Called Out On Modern Fascism”.

@nprofile1q... I remember an article in the past about a dude who had his falling apart office chair forever and one day it broke and impaled him in the nuts. Preventative maintenance on my chairs jas been a must for me ever since. They showed the chair and all the blood on the floor. Trauma.
