Yeah, the owerhelming amount of bitcoin spam is astounding. Before nostr I’d no idea that bitcoin scamming has become so popular. Quite annoying, to be honest.
There is also a bot fringe that seems to be separate from the BTC concept: hundreds of thems are simply used to dead answer at some triggering keywords with the apparent intention of psychoanalize you and provoking a reaction, they also are easily spotted by now. I believe that the creators started to experiment and unleash them because they want to increase "users" interaction but the result is ridicolous and sterile.
