@nprofile1q... Question about the HIPAA compliance of telehealth sessions: what is actually required for that? My last therapist used Microsoft Teams, which I was rather nonplussed about. I'm sure Microsoft is now probably training AI on my therapy sessions.
Don't get me wrong. The therapist was genuinely helpful and otherwise great. I definitely got benefit from those sessions. I wanted to suggest using a Jitsi server that I host myself, but didn't because even though I knew it was legit, I knew it sounded scammy. It's the same thing with my doctor who insists on emailing forms in plaintext.
I'm sure they know way more about their respective fields than I can ever hope to. This is something they've spent literal years studying, after all.
...but when it comes to infosec...
For added clarity, I'm in Canada, so the rules probably differ.
