@utzer I have a mirror on my gitea server. A while back tjht mirror was being heavily scraped too, bringing the server to its knees. I solved it by making it not visible from unauthenticated users. I don't think it's intentionally malicious, but at the end of the day it doesn't really matter.

Don't get me wrong. The therapist was genuinely helpful and otherwise great. I definitely got benefit from those sessions. I wanted to suggest using a Jitsi server that I host myself, but didn't because even though I knew it was legit, I knew it sounded scammy. It's the same thing with my doctor who insists on emailing forms in plaintext.

I'm sure they know way more about their respective fields than I can ever hope to. This is something they've spent literal years studying, after all.

...but when it comes to infosec...

@nprofile1q... They usually have some salvageable chips too. I vaguely recall soneone turning an old vape into a web server.

@Shane Celis Sonewhat unrelated, but I don't understand why people make such a big deal about IO being a Monad instead of just calling it the IO type. I mean, it's also a Monoid, Semigroup, etc. There's nothing particularly special that I can see about the Monad typeclass.
