Enjoyed some delicious food from the small festival along Otaru’s canal last night. Very happy to be home. Met a new American expat homeowner. I suspect there are quite a few here. Winter will be a surprise for them. Weather is perfect now

Spent yesterday chopping down trees and clearing brush plus moving furniture with my friend Ling. Honestly it felt much more enjoyable than tourism. Her house is slowly coming together. @ling and it’s nice to be able to help friends.

In Taiwan now. The weather is perfect. At my interesting friend’s house. She travelled the world for two years with no money. Got jailed in Egypt. Carried stones with her everywhere. Left her rented house open for couchsurfing while gone.
