So - I've built something. A tray for field days, hamradio things, rc cars and planes, organizing and sorting things. You can 3D print this thing and throw in your backpack without being afraid that it comes apart, things fly around or get out of order.

Allright, good morning. Dear science and writers bubble, how do you deal with local toolchains for managing your library and archives?

I tried Zotero and had a look - *ugh* it requires cloud syncing for metadata and webdav for storage (or pay for it).

Is is really a combination of a local bibtex file in combination with archivebox?

This is a radio of a lady (> 80 yrs) that was missing the knob to turn it on/off. Therefore, she always pulled the power plug. The old knob was lost somewhere in life. For me it was just a few minutes in #freecad and a about 16 minutes to print it. You can see that the knob is lacking the small slit which indicated its position. Reaction of the lady: "I don't see that anyways.." and smiled. How rewarding life can be...after that smile I can make knobs for an entire week.

Dear Hamradio community, now it's in a working state. May I present: An Ansible Role for managing MMDVMHost on your Raspberry Pi hotspot.

If you ever wanted to manage your hotspot the automation way, I got you covered. Ansible is an automation/orchestration tool to roll out and configure software and systems remotely.

With ansible-mmdvm you can set up a hotspot from a second compute (or local) on your Raspberry. Update and roll out configuration changes. It doesn't feature DMRGateway so far, that's next on the list. Please note, this is a very early release that may have rough edges.
