The AI Space Race is unstoppable, and governments are already powerless:

The Prisoner's Dilemma:
If the US slows down, China pulls ahead. If China slows down, the US wins. No superpower can afford to decelerate without forfeiting technological and military global dominance. The law of geopolitics forces them to sprint.

The Open-Source Leak:
Intelligence cannot be locked away. Once trained, the most powerful AI models weigh only a few gigabytes. They leak into the wild, get decentralized by a global community, and run on local consumer hardware. You cannot stop code at national borders.

Commercial Evolution:
For businesses, AI is not an option; it is a matter of survival. Anyone who fails to crush administrative costs down to zero using AI agents will be wiped off the market.

To regulate is to lose. This is a trivial mathematical certainty.

Tech-CEOs who say that we need to stop AI now know this fact too,
they just frame society while doing something else in the labs.

And our linear slow acting governemnts trying to regulate Ai only shows,
that they do not understand the new exponential world.

Countries which are not scaling compute and energy right now will become colonial countries of world leading tech powers.

This will be very harsh for plebs, especially in the EU.
