Yesterday we went to the Los Gatos Art & Wine Festival, held by the Kiwanis at the town civic center. It is a smaller event, with maybe a hundred artist, but it leans heavily into entertainment and drink. This event is also among the last for the year, and with summer over it was getting windy and cool.

I have inadvertently taught my dog that the ice cream truck is an enemy. The truck that rolls down our street every afternoon spews out exhaust and my wife and I go inside the house to close the front windows. My dog has been paying attention to this and now he starts barking at the truck to drive it away. He thinks it works. #dogsofmastodon #noicecream

So today I got my COVID-19 and flu #vaccinations . COVID in the right arm, flu in the left. A slight pain at the flu spot, nothing at all with the right. And that's it. No fatigue or aching, no sleepiness. Definitely not like it was a few years ago.

Yesterday we went to the 55th Annual Millbrae Art & Wine Festival. It was held on Broadway St by the Millbrae Chamber of Commerce. It was sunny but strong winds kept us cool. Pretty standard fare. My only complaint is Broadway is a fairly narrow street and crowds at some business were almost impassable. Lots of dogs.
