1) The protocol is neat.

2) People seem pretty chill. Things can get heated occasionally, but it's usually the Bitcoin stuff I don't have as much of a stake in, so it's pretty easy to get along with people.

3) People seem to share a lot of my interests. The other week @RogueHashrate and I were chatting in Shavian. I've never met somebody outside of Nostr - on the Internet or IRL - that even knew what it was (an alternative phonetic alphabet). It seems to attract people of similar wavelengths.

A post export ability might be neat, archiving all your posts locally in rebroadcastable signed json and possibly also as one big html/pdf/text doc.

Would this change his mind, or is the ceo of Nostr just going to ban me 😆

Nope, haven't deleted it.

Makes me curious, I wonder how IPFS would interact with Nostr for larger uploads. I know it's slower than Blossom for things like images in microblogging posts, but for something like a magazine or other large file hosting it might be useful.
