Flower spam because today is really cold and not good out in the garden weather, but these are from yesterday. Cutting back the rose bush at the foot of the front garden has done it wonders. Last year it barely flowered. Spotted orchids are cropping up all over and I still love the petal pattern. And the side path is covered in St John’s Wort and purple toadflax. Raspberries are coming out too so might harvest a few tomorrow. #gardening #roses #flowers

My 3D printer is a whisker away from having an unfortunate encounter with a mallet. The bloody resin prints won't stick to the print bed, and I'm fast running out of troubleshooting suggestions to try. So far all it has printed is a load of flat bits of plastic. All I've got left to try is fiddling with the exposure and speed settings in the fond hope the bloody stuff sticks, but I'm starting to worry I've bought a massive waste of space.

#WordWeavers Who is your most visually stunning character? How do others react to them?

Not an MC but Captain Giudicelli of the Xanadu is supposed to be stunning, model-level gorgeous, and most of the crew basically take the mick out of him for it. But it works a charm on the customers.

My author copies finally arrived, wrapped up in parcel tape. My postman informed me the box contained "A big load of books" with the tone of "why the hell would you want such odd things?" but in doing so, he did kind of give away who it was who burst the original box and had to patch it back together...

Planning on seeing if the local bookshop will take a few copies. They already have a table for "local authors" and sort of arts and craft stuff.

#WritersCoffeeClub What is the fundamental goal you seek to achieve with your current WIP?

It is the third in a series, that I really hope people eventually discover and some folks end up liking my characters and universe as much as I do.

I hope, unlike every other book I've ever written, it will sell a decent number of copies but going off past experience, I don't hold much optimism.

And eventually I hope to be well enough that I could sell the books on a stall at local comic cons.
