Excessive screen time affects many young people across the EU.

According to a recent Flash Eurobarometer, adolescents spend on average 4.5 hours online during a school day and 6.1 hours during a weekend day.

Long periods spent in front of screens are associated with symptoms such as tired eyes, headaches, concentration problems, or eating less healthily.
