It’s easy to see how one can help contribute to the Bitcoin network as a computer programmer. Helping code various applications and integrating the ecosystem in useful ways. But are there any roles in which a more classical engineer can work within the industry? At least in a sustainable sort of way despite the industry still being rather new.

I’ve casually searched before out of curiosity but everything has mostly led down either the programming or marketing type roles.

Figured #Nostr would be the perfect place to ask and learn more about people’s experiences. Would love to start any interesting conversations 🙂

Agreed - it seems like “forcing blockchain into everything” at first, but you quickly realize the very real use case with how many impersonators there are on social media now adays.

With how often official updates are announced on social media in today, it’s not hard to see how it could be a national security concern.

Im very glad you came out and said it because it is true. No actual solutions being discussed, just political posturing without any meaningful thought. Over and over.

And unfortunately it seems like people operate today within a constellation of beliefs. They attach themselves to a certain social group, and then must hold the same viewpoints as the rest of the group, or they risk getting pushed away or ostracized. Its surprised me how many topics and beliefs this seems to affect.

Nothing stops this train, but it doesnt mean it doesnt hurt seeing it barrel down. Working at finding the beauty in it 🙃🍻?
