Friday, May 22💐

1. Our glorious sunny spring/summer weather has returned. Time to haul out le parapluie⛱️ for the patio and eat le pamplemousse. (My 2 fave French words.)
2. Ubered to/from the hairdresser without dragons, pterodactyls, or zombies. Gas is $7 here, which makes the decision to donate my car a sane & happy one.
3. Vagabond son & DIL sent pics (below) from their cruise, and Twin B & spouse leave for Japan tomorrow. 🛳️✈️ I am SO content to stay home!

1. Productivity yesterday (fueled by caffeinated coffee & a pain pill) was amazing — I did nine actual tasks without collapsing, which is a 2026 record!
2. One of the accomplishments was starting a new Procreate painting from a reference photo that has been both intriguing & intimidating me for months.
3. Looking forward to chatty grandson’s visit for dinner tonight.

1. Waking up to sunshine & birds singing.
2. Waking up to 57 text messages from my family on my birthday🥳. (I thought my phone had been hacked by terrorists!)

A nameless someone in my family ended up with $150k in college debt because they couldn’t pass algebra ll (four times!) & get into any uni except an expensive private school, which waived the requirement. They had every learning aid possible & will carry that debt throughout their entire working life.
