Most of what I’ve heard about the Dulles renovations sounds perfectly reasonable … but apparently it will also include gold accents in the airport. Because everything just has to be trashy as shit to make him happy.

Am I a cranky old man because I think people using their phones without earbuds or headphones in a cafe should be asked to leave?
I should add that I am a cranky old man, but I try to move through the world being kind to everyone around me, and saving up the crankiness for when I really need it. It becomes a superpower when people are used to you being nice and then you go off.
This is spot on. I was at a CVS rosy and the whole experience just makes me want to buy things online. I was there for a card, but walked past endless locked-up products to get to the greeting card aisle.
