HERE'S WHY:
This year is a presidential election year in the USA. That means there will soon be political campaign signs *everywhere*
Later this year, you'll see political signs on your way to work, home, or school. You'll see political signs while sitting at traffic lights. You'll even see political signs in some people's yards.
IMAGINE if you could intercept the attention people place on these political campaign signs and redirect it to the most important topic of our time: #bitcoin
With that idea, VOTE FOR BETTER MONEY was born: a grassroots campaign to put "bitcoin campaign signs" in public leading up to this year's presidential election!
@VOTE FOR BETTER MONEY launched earlier this year on January 3 — Bitcoin's 15th birthday.
NOW, after 3 months of brainstorming and testing in the open right here on #Nostr, your feedback has brought me lots of clarity.
Rather than continuing this "bitcoin campaign signs" project under the (sometimes confusing) VOTE FOR BETTER MONEY brand, I'll instead be launching different #bitcoin campaign signs over on @bitcoin.rocks later this year. Just like the @bitcoin.rocks stickers, you'll be able to request a pack of bitcoin signs!
This account will no longer be active, and I'll no longer be mailing out VOTE FOR BETTER MONEY stickers or meetup boxes. The VOTE FOR BETTER MONEY website will remain active at least through the end of the year so the stickers and flyers you put in public thus far still offer content to people who scan the QR codes.
And don't worry — you can still request free bitcoin sticker packs from @bitcoin.rocks!
Since @bitcoin.rocks launched more than 2 years ago, I've mailed more than 51k stickers to dedicated plebs, bitcoin businesses, bitcoin meetups, bitcoin hubs (like @Bitcoin Park) and conferences. @Bitcoin Magazine has even put the stickers in some of their magazines!
IMAGINE how many #bitcoin campaign signs this community will put in public later this year. It's going to be EPIC! 😂

I'm not expecting people to put these in their yard, but rather in medians and other public places next to other political signs.

The goal of this project is to redirect the attention focused on the US Presidential Election to the topic of inflation & #bitcoin
This will mostly be accomplished in the later half of this year as we distribute yard signs that you can put up near other political signs.
