Wouldn't we all love to find a perfect candidate or party? But that won't happen in a world of humans. So often the choice is the "least bad". Rarely do we get to choose the best. It is too dangerous to leave the decision up to others.

Clearly I need to start talking more about my friends who had polio and were crippled for life (or worse) and seeing the iron lungs in the hospital, ready for use. Humans have such short memories!

I've started knitting this pattern with a lovely dark yarn:

Unfortunately, others who have tried, say the pattern is very poorly written and, so far, I agree. We will see what happens but the yarn is so dark that it is hard to see the various stitch types. I do love a challenge.

Finished knitting this lovely pullover. I played yarn chicken and won! I had been worried that both sleeves would not end up the same length but it worked out.

Tonight we had the immense pleasure of hearing Jaeden Izik-Dzurko play a Brahms Piano Concerto with the National Arts Centre Orchestra! It was an absolutely wonderful evening of music!
