@nprofile1q... Uuh, the face of the assistant train manager on Saturday when he saw that we were on his precious Talgo without a reservation. I’ll never forget “you get off at the next stop, because your train (the later ECE397) is running today”. Luckily, mentioning that I’d spoken to his boss about this before departure helped and I didn’t have to discuss the abysmal punctuality statistics of ECE397) in the last days.

@nprofile1q... @nprofile1q... Neither DB nor CD can sell me a reservation. DB says „Mittlere Auslastung erwartet“, but then claims a reservation is not possible. Same with CD.

I remember this being the case when we booked the trip back in February, the day the tickets became available. No luck with the early train, that's why we chose the later one. Now, of course, it's questionable whether we can make it back to Cologne on that day.

Hey, train bubble (@nprofile1q..., @nprofile1q...). DB have just informed me that our connection from Halmstad (Sweden) to Cologne on 8 August will not work, thus there is no more Zugbindung. However, for the Copenhagen – Hamburg leg there is compulsory reservation. We have a reservation for ECE 397 but would like to switch to ECE 395 (two hours earlier).

Where and how can I get a reservation for ECE395 without buying a new ticket?
